"It's not the answers you find to those questions, but...

the treasures you put your hand on, while on your way...". That's how my pirate-father initiated me into this journey I am on these days.

'Words of pirate-wisdom' - I recall saying to myself - 'real helpful piece of advice... What a father! Any pirate would be jealous of me...'

But what do I do with this? How will this direct me in my cruise to the unknown? I'm not sure I found a satisfying resolution for this bit, but it sure does sound really cool.

I’m on the starting days of an endless-lifelong-everlasting voyage in the oceans of this world. As they like to say in our pirate-hood: Once a pirate, always a pirate.

And so, if to be picturesque, I can say that now the ground is shaking under my feet. Literally. The security and worry-lessness I cherished so much on the solid ground were suddenly swept as I sailed off from the shore. Now it’s only me, the sea, and my ragged sailboat- “Thot” (that’s Piratish for ‘Thought’).

Who will I meet on my way? Where am I going? Why? Who am I? Must I be pirate and not, say, a salesman? Are there still pirates in the world elsewhere than Somalia? – Are only some of the creatures I encountered up to now…

Stay tuned for treasures-unraveling and the like.
